Phoenix Bell-Shelton Biggs

Phoenix Bell-Shelton Biggs (they/them) is a passionate and committed individual whose work and identity intertwine with their spiritual journey and social justice advocacy. They identify as Queer, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and non-binary, and they are called to the path of ministry and public theology. Phoenix’s life and work are driven by a profound commitment to radical love, care, and sanctuary movements, all of which are central to their vocation.
Their call to ministry is not just a profession but a deeply rooted mission to disrupt patriarchy and dismantle systems of oppression, paving the way for a more just and inclusive world. Phoenix served as an intern minister at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg, VA, where they actively engaged in ministerial duties and community care, contributing to the spiritual growth and well-being of the congregation. They have served on the Board of Directors for the UU Mental Health Network, the Board of the UU Young Adult Revival Network (UUYarn), and as a Young Adult worship leader and Chaplain with UU YARN. In June 2024, Phoenix began a one-year Residency in Spiritual Health at Emory University Hospital of Atlanta, GA.
Phoenix is an M.Div graduate of Meadville Lombard Theological School, class of 2024. Phoenix also holds an AS degree in Media Production from Pellissippi State Community College and A BS in Religious Studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Beyond their professional and academic life, Phoenix enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, eating vegan food, engaging in theater, and enjoying a good cup of coffee
Shiloh Millo Hoffman

Shiloh Hoffman (they/them) was welcomed into preliminary fellowship in the Unitarian Universalist Association in September 2024. They received a B.S. in Anthropology and Public Archaeology at Bridgewater State University, where they completed a thesis entitled “The Past is Present: Exploring Methods of Cooperation Between Archaeologists, Native Americans, and Museums in Southern New England.” Shiloh is grateful to leaders and members of the Mashpee, Aquinnah, Assonet Wôpanâak, and Narragansett tribes and their ancestors and acknowledges that they have benefitted from the occupation of the tribes’ land and resources.
Shiloh graduated from Meadville Lombard Theological School in 2024 and served as a ministerial intern at United First Parish Church in Quincy.
Currently, Shiloh serves as a hospice chaplain with Hospice Services of MA.
Shiloh is also a volunteer crisis counselor with the Trevor Project, a suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people. Shiloh enjoys hanging out with their wife and two cats in their spare time, baking, and playing early 2000s video games.
